What support? Who's support? Who's actually used it and not just read about it? it looks like we're only getting sailboat fuel from Presonus on multitouch "support". Ideally, I'd hold off on the Slate MTI or MTX and simply buy a nice multitouch kikin' monitor, as I already have the I/O, so just a large multitouch video monitor would be awsome. I just dont want these to be my only alternative's. So the Raven is in the running so I'll probably have to contact Slate on this. The SSL Nucleus is a bit expensive, though I may opt for the new Presonus CS18AI which is a possibility. I am currently looking to invest in a motorized fader controller and will probably opt for the Ucon Pro, or the Mackie Universal Pro. Where does S1 stand on working entirely on it's own graphic interface with multitouch? How will S1 v3 itself handle multitouch? Some other DAW's actually through their GUI handle multitouch rather well, such as Reason, or Sonar. Pro's/Con's? Would love to hear about it. Anybody run it, and if so, please let is know how it's functioning. So, I understand it's on a tablet at least which will support multi touch. Did they simply get it going in their shop as a prototype? Like the old lady in the Wendy's commercial "Where's the beef?" So Steven Slate shows a video with S1 running on the MTX (in the Presonus website). The bottom lists Protools and Logic only. So what gives? Surely some are using Presonus with multi touch, and where are they? What does "multi touch support" actually entail? That the Slate MTX and MTI only support multitouch? And if so, why on the Slate website do they not include Presonus Studio One under Supported DAW's? Studio One 3 has a fresh and modern look that invites you to reach out and touch it.Īnd for the first time ever in any DAW, whether you are on Mac® OS X or Windows® 8 (with a suitable multi-touch display), you can do just that to control your mix, arrangement, effects settings, and more. New, customizable, high-dpi UI with multi-touch support.
